hang in there, wckin! maybe avoid the tag for a while. you could try making a new ‘safe’ tag but destroywckin’ll probably find that very quickly, its happened in the past in other communities. i think this will blow over quickly but im not psychic.

if you don’t think “being sent into a single-minded unshakable conquest of unquenchable destructive rage upon seeing someone close to you die” doesn’t fall under the umbrella of “amazing and beautiful and deep acts of love” then i don’t even want to talk to you

Is there a difference between borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorder?

shitborderlinesdo:

meajoraswrath-deactivated201605:

1) Bipolar is an affective disorder, and BPD is a personality disorder. A personality disorder affect’s one’s experiences and cognitive functions, as well as their social functioning.

2) Bipolar cycles tend to last longer than borderline cycles. A mood swing with BPD may last 5 minutes to a few hours. A bipolar cycle can last days to weeks.

3) The moods in people with BPD are more dependent, either positively or negatively, on what’s going on in their life at the moment.

4) In people with BPD, the mood swings are more specific. People with bipolar disorder swing between all-encompassing periods of mania and major depression The mood swings typical in BPD go between fear, happiness, sadness, anger, love, etc.

5) Not to mention that BPD also deals with dissociation, fear of abandonment, reckless behavior, splitting, and self-identity problems.

Keep in mind it is also possible for a person to have both bipolar and borderline.

This is probably a better explanation than the one currently listed in our FAQ, so I’m going to replace that link with this one. x

I can only assume that what photographer Porsupah Ree captured here are binkying bunnies. A binky is a playful and happy expression made by a rabbit in which it jumps in the air and twists its body around in a convulsive fashion.

i’ll come back to this post later when i have energy but if i remember correctly one of the things that DEFINES cats is that theyre extreme obligate carnivores (hypercarnivores). members of the cat family are the MOST obligate carnivores of the order carnivora. the ‘eeeh this is pretty debatable’ person has both flawed sources and logic, please be sure you know what youre talking about before you comment on a post like this unless youre just linking to someone who does

anyways nobody reblog my commentary please i’ll add legitimate things later when i’m a more articulate and dont want to die as much

I guess if you ignore what I actually said in order to infer a claim I never made, this makes sense, but if you’re going to spend energy writing a whole thing later you might want to get what I wrote right first. To be clear: no where did I claim cats aren’t consummate carnivores. The claim was that what that what this category signifies isn’t as cut and dry as the OP made it out to be.

im rereading your reblog and i definitely failed to comprehend it properly, you weren’t saying what i thought you were saying. sorry about that. ((i’ll be back tomorrow or saturday i think.))

I love not being stage crew because I can look elegant in my blacks

{rose, fae/faer, blacks is the term used in my theatre program at least to refer to the all balck clothing worn by tech crew!}
